Great practice with Turbo Shimmy! |

Isolating one particular move and practicing it over and over again is a useful tool for any dancer. Turbo Shimmy helps you do this. The lovely and talented Celeste, starts out by demonstrating some strength and stretching exercises that are helpful in preparing to shimmy. Then she clearly explains and demonstrates some of the most common shimmies. Finally, you get to practice with her in several drills, which are split in three different sections ranging from basic to more challenging shimmies. The drills have not only helped me correct my posture and improve my technique, but showed me just how lopsided I was. Regular practice with Turbo Shimmy has helped me correct this. The video concludes with two great performances by Celeste. I am delighted with Turbo Shimmy and would recommend it for beginners, or for anyone who wishes to improve their shimmy technique!
