Puela Lunaris' program on this DVD presents two campanilleros choreographies, each with a detailed step-by-step breakdown, plus performances in full costume. The first choreography teaches the original "pure" feminine style of dancing Flamenco: Baile Puro de Mujer. Sensual arms, exotic hand gestures, passionate turns, undulating hips and a proud torso are the characteristics of this original pure Flamenco style. There is practically no footwork: Footwork is an aspect of the dance that was originally reserved for men. You can dance this style barefoot or wearing flamenco shoes. The second choreography shows you how to dance with the Flamenco shawl, the Manton de Manila. Puela Lunaris teaches the tricks and the classic technique of dancing with the Manton, including how to handle the shawl and how to enhance your dance through its use.
