Thank you SO MUCH for the fast shipping! My shoes arrived one hour before my belly dance class, and they fit PERFECTLY. Not only that, I was AMAZED at how comfortable they are, even while breaking them in it felt so wonderful on my feet and I ended class without them hurting at all. You are simply wonderful and thank you for supplying me with such wonderful dance shoes! :)

Hermes lace-up shoes |

I'm happy to give these a glowing review! Just last week I participated in a belly dancing workshop. My friend (for whom I also bought a pair of the same shoes) led a joyful group of 25 women in a wonderful week exploring the sacred feminine along with our shimmies, hip rolls, drum solo dancing (and a bit of Bollywood) and my feet were so beautiful and happy! Everyone loved my shoes! (I was the only one wearing shoes - everyone else was barefoot.) Simply my feet are not so tough and we were dancing on cement all week, so my feet had to be smart along with beautiful!
We also did a bit of ritual Sufi whirling for the crowd (for which the shoes were also amazing) as well as a gorgeous Dance of the Seven Veils.... (On performance night, I also wore my Belly Dance Shoppe black lace choli, which got tons of compliments too, and my jingly arm bands with coins....) I was able to dance better and more energetically with them and I love them!
I am yours forever.... :-)

You don't even know they're there |

Logic would tell you that a piece of leather tied to your foot with strings shouldn't be comfortable, but these shoes defy logic! The leather sole is the perfect thickness to allow protection from the ground (especially when performing outside), but still allows you to feel a connection to the ground beneath you. I've worn these for hours at a time and had no soreness or any other complaints at all about them. Another nice feature is that the lace is removable, so if you want to match your costume with some string or ribbon as the lace, you can customize the look of the sandals. Just a great product I couldn't live without!
