In early 1998, out of her desire, to help her students find a scarves and dancewear at affordable prices, Naj purchased a few hipscarves and miscellaneous items and started a home-based business.  Over the years, BellyDanceShoppe grew to include flowing silk veils, costuming,jewelry, dance sandals, unitards and  leotards.
Belly Dance Shop's Internet Sales come from all over world; including Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Russia, Slovenia, Canada and of course the U.S.A.

Our goal is to increase awareness and knowledge of this beautiful form of dance as an art to appreciated by all.  Naj promotes health, comraderie and character development. Her classes are a place to learn about the music and culture of the many countries where this dance is performed.
